Over the past few months, our client Hotel Zetta launched an online competition hunting down the most talented street artists across the country. Titled #ZettaMurals, a $5,000 grand prize plus 4 day vacation package from Viceroy Hotel Group was up for grabs and attracted over 500 artists to enter via Instagram.
Iconic street art legends Buff Monster and Apexer judged the entries and invited their seven favorite artists to the final challenge – using a seven-story staircase in Hotel Zetta as their canvas to convey their story. Artists included: Steiner, Elle, Griffin One, Mike Tyau, Deb, Pemex and Dirty Bandits
The artists were given two and half days to complete their murals which paid homage to San Francisco. Griffin One won the contest but all were impressed with the other entries.
7-Story Canvas is on now in Hotel Zetta’s stairwell located 55 5th Street, San Francisco, 94103.
